About Planned Odyssey

Planned Odyssey is a trip planner for RV, van, trailer and car travel: a schedule that rearranges itself when plans change, the true cost per kilometre for your vehicle and places added by travelers.

Who it is for

Travelers who hit the road with their home or their car: snowbirds heading south for the winter, families on vacation, van lifers, fifth-wheel and motorhome owners. For a weekend or for six months.

You can invite your partner, your family or your friends into a trip. Your trips stay private: only the travelers you invite can see them.

What it covers

North America (Canada, the United States, Mexico), Europe and Turkey: 47 countries have a road rules page (documents, tolls and vignettes, low emission zones, wild camping, required equipment) and a van road trip page. 17 famous road trips are described stop by stop.

Campgrounds, wild camping spots, services and restaurants are added by travelers themselves, public or private as they choose.

The site is in English and Spanish on plannedodyssey.com, and in French on planifiermonodyssee.com.

What it does not do

The site sells no package tours and no bookings: you book directly with campgrounds, ferries and rental companies.

Rules, prices, schedules and reviews are guides that change: always check with the source before you go.

Since when

The site has been online since October 2026.

It is still in development: accounts created during this period stay free for life.
