Your trips are private: only the travelers you invite can see them.

Your places are public or private, your choice. The author of a public place is shown only one week after it is created, and only if their profile is public (off by default).

Photos are re-saved by the site: GPS location, camera and other metadata are removed.

We sell no data. No analytics run without your consent: if you accept them in the cookie banner, Google Analytics counts visits (pages viewed, country, device), never your trips or places. The “Cookies” link at the bottom of every page lets you change your mind.

GPS tracking (off by default): if you turn it on in a trip, your positions are used to place the trip in its schedule, to draw your actual route and, if you choose, to show your latest position to the travelers of that trip. They are never public. They are deleted at the latest one year after the trip's last position (sooner if the trip is set that way). “Erase my track” deletes them right away.
