Warnings for large vehicles
- Campgrounds are full in winter: book months ahead (Bahia Honda, John Pennekamp). Little RV parking in Key West and no overnight in town.
- Strong crosswinds on the long bridges for tall vehicles. When a hurricane threatens, the Keys are evacuated early: leave at the first order.
